V&Co is the crème de la crème in paint, and the benchmark for quality in the Sherwin-Williams portfolio, so we needed to create a store presence worthy of the brand.

The Challenge

We were tasked to help increase presence in-store, capturing and holding attention during a shopper journey where quality and finish is often overshadowed by colour.

This involved developing a solution to display ready-to-mix base paints in aisle, and beyond the mixing desk, for the first time.

The Approach

Unsurprisingly, the weight of paint presents challenges when developing in-store displays, so the easy approach would have been a simple pallet wrap.

However, for the best of the best we needed to raise the bar and develop a first-of-its-kind solution. By experimenting with engineering approaches and exploring production methods, we developed our first permanent FSDU capable of supporting full paint tins across different sizes.

This FSDU provides a much more disruptive platform to carry brand and product messaging, elevating the premium product credentials and meeting the initial brief, to capture and hold attention.
